Unity, change, new beginnings for Sangguniang Panlalawigan

Speaking to the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, from the board members to the legislative staff assistants (LSA) and SP employees in attendance, Vice Governor Concepcion Lim called for unity and change in what spells out to be a new beginning for the Provincial Board of Bohol.

HEAT BOHOL

During his conversation with Pres. Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III at the Heroes Hall of Malacañang, President P-Noy expressed his concern for Bohol's development. President P-Noy conveyed his commitment to support Bohol's development when he started asking updates from Governor Chatto on recent projects, both completed and unfinished, that could spell a difference in Bohol's development track during the next six years. During the induction of officers of the League of Governors of the Phils. (LMP) where Gov. Chatto was inducted as one of the directors, Pres. Aquino eagerly asked the Bohol governor on what happened to the pending Panglao Bohol International Airport. The governor articulated to the President the existing risk posed by the short runway of the Tagbilaran City Airport which justifies the need for a new airport, outside the city.
